Bursary ReportsIt has long been a tradition in the Society to publish a brief report, on visits to conferences or fieldwork projects, by those supported by the Society's Bursary Scheme. In the past, bursary reports were published in the Mineralogical Society Bulletin, but this ceased publication in August 2004 and most of the information contained in the Bulletin has now either found its way into the new international magazine on mineralogy, geochemistry and petrology Elements, or is disseminated via e-mail bulletins. In line with the trend to go online, the Officers have decided to publish bursary reports on the website so that they can be made available to other Members and the wider public. It is intended to keep these on the site for around 12 months.
