Elements is published bimonthly by
the Mineralogical Society of America, the
Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and
Ireland, the Mineralogical Association of
Canada, the Geochemical Society, The Clay
Minerals Society, the European Association for
Geochemistry, the International Association of
GeoChemistry, the Société Française de
Minéralogie et de Cristallographie, the
Association of Applied Geochemists, the Deutsche
Mineralogische Gesellschaft, the Società
Italiana di Mineralogia e Petrologia, the
International Association of Geoanalysts, the
Polskie Towarzystwo Mineralogiczne
(Mineralogical Society of Poland) and, starting
in 2008, the Sociedad Española de Mineralogía
(Spanish Mineralogical Society). |
| Every 72-page issue explores a theme of
broad and current interest in the mineral
sciences. Elements also presents
regular features like a calendar of events,
short course announcements, awards, conference
reports, policy news, as well as news of the
Societies. |
| Elements publishes invited
peer-reviewed papers for its thematic collection
of papers. Topics of interest can be proposed to
the editors who will review every proposal
submitted. |
